Battlefield is the sequel to Battlefield V which was launched back in 2018. The game is set to bring a big leap in the series in terms of gameplay, graphics and other aspects.
The upcoming release of the series is expected to arrive on all the major platforms including PC, Xbox Series X|S and Playstation 5.
Though EA has not yet revealed the official release date for the game, however, rumours have suggested that it might launch by the end of this year.
Recent rumours have revealed that the game might come with a 128-player map and support cross-gen as well. But, the grounds of this leak is pretty thin and not much has appeared on this recently.
In addition to the massive 128-player map, the leaks suggest that it might also come with a rather small 32v32 standard game mode, a 64-player map.
As per a video posted by Henderson, Battlefield 6 is speculated to be a soft reboot of Battlefield 3 with one exception. The game will be set in the modern era unlike Battlefield 3.
Henderson also claims that Dice has also planned a battle royale mode for the game and it will be added to the game at a later stage.
EA has already teased the new Battlefield game as a true next-gen vision for the franchise. The publisher has also confirmed a never seen before scale for the game.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson has confirmed that more information about the game will be revealed in the spring which falls somewhere around March and May, 21.
